The Microsurgery Training Courses are designed to provide a comprehensive, structured, and intensive hands-on training program that covers the entire microsurgical workflow—from fundamental principles and basic technical skills to advanced microsurgical techniques and instructor-level training.
The program is organized using an individualized, trainee-centered approach, combining high-fidelity biological training models with effective teaching tools and modern educational strategies. This approach allows participants to progressively develop both technical precision and procedural understanding within a focused and supportive training environment.

The Microsurgery Training Course is a four-day intensive hands-on program
(6–8 hours per day), delivered at KU Leuven using validated simulation and
non-living training models. The curriculum follows a stepwise, competency-based structure, consisting of eight modules (2 modules per day):
